That's less than 10% of the median priced home in San Diego.

This is good news, the future. Price will come down with volume. Maybe someday every rooftop will be dumping electricity into the grid.

They are amazing! My daughter used to sell them in the Washington, D.C. area. Once over the sticker shock, it may be a way to energy independence. Something we should all consider as more and more reports of network invasions come out.

46k compared to cost of roofing + Pv panel system,... perhaps about comparable cost. Certainly might be aesthetically better to get rid of Pv-panel-look of conventional rooftop system, eh?
If you can still get a residential energy tax credit, that alone shaves 30+% off the cost of roof, plus your roof provides energy :light:
