That truck + the mini duramax would be a winner. To bad GMC management canĀ“t see that.

The Chevy Colorado is available with a 2.8L 4 cylinder diesel. According to their website it cranks out 181hp and 369ft torque. Also, MPG city = 22, highway = 30. Seems like it would be a very nice setup.

I haven't checked lately, but when the new version of the Colorado was offered with the diesel, it was only available in the full dress, all the extras version!

It is kind of like internet/TV service providers that bundle a bunch of crap you don't want! I would be interested in a basic, no frills ranch or military grade truck with that diesel....even better if I could power wash the interior once in a while!

Those chevy colorados are little tiny trucks like the Tacoma. You can get a diesel in a real truck, if you go for a ram 1500 (just started selling again this month, after they got caught falsifying emissions test) or f150 (f150 diesel coming this fall).

You want a stripped-down, no-frills cheap truck? nobody wants one of those. Only employers buy those, so their employees don't get too comfortable!

Yea but at $40,000 or so bucks out the door? That's almost as much as a 1971 VW bus...

I still regret ever selling mine.
