On May 13th, the Mexican Army operating in the area of the Bay of Los Angeles located in La Gringa beach 55 packages containing 350 kilos of
marijuana, 5 containers with 750 grams of crystal meth and radio equipment. They also located and made inoperable a dirt landing strip.
In a separate operation in the local area, 107 packages containing 680 kilos of marijuana were also seized

Might explain why the sea gulls when we camped there were eating M & Ms at night and ordering pizza at all hours. And instead of "mine mine mine"
they were quoting from "Up in Smoke".
