Just after the last stop sign in town when you are traveling south on the Free Road there is a growing assortment of food stands on the west side of
the highway.
I love the tacos varios place that does several guisados (stews), my favorite is the chile relleno tacos.
Next door is the carne asada/adobada taco place that gives you grilled jalapenos and green onions. They do handmade corn tortillas which makes me
happy.
Soon to open on the left is a mariscos place and next door is a carnitas place.
Nothing fancy going on here. folks, almost no signage, most all have just a basic counter and kitchen with plastic chairs under an awning, but the
food is very good
