I posted about the three Weimaraners loose in a pickup truck in Rosarito, now today at Sunday brunch at Ruben's restaurant, I saw a man put his black
c-cker spaniel-ish puppy into his black SUV and then return to the restaurant. It was very warm today and I could see the puppy jumping up and pawing
the windows. I asked the parking guys to do something. Nothing happened. Finally, I found the guy and confronted him, saying "Excuse me sir, but your
puppy is in distress. He could die of heatstroke out there in minutes." To his credit, he immediately took the dog out of the car and did not give me
any attitude.
