Easy limits of big Yellowtail in Bahia Asuncion!

Easy limits of big yellowtail in the 25-35lb range this week in Bahia Asuncion! Our guests Joe & Mike and Capt.Juan Arce Marron started the day off with a fast triple hook up and all 3 of those BIG fish broke off in the rocks! No worries as they continued to catch their limits of nice size yellowtail.

Then to round out their bag they brought in some super nice calico bass and called it a day! After some fresh sashimi & seared yellowtail we went for tacos at Tacos Chikirringis!

here are the boys having their coffee on the patio before fishing this morning! muy a gusto!

That’s awesome!

the yellowtail are bigger than they usually are this time of a year so it's shaping up to be a great fall season here!

Sorry Shari....but the guy in the grey shirt in the panga

The pose, The shades, the shadow, the gut. It is spooky.

You know who I mean. Chills up my spine the instant I saw that.

Congrats to Juan Arce. I need to get down there and fish with him.

I feel ya man...the guy was super positive and really reminded me of F'in Stan too! sigh

The fishing has been spotty with fish moving around alot but lots of fish being caught....some dorado, lots of bonita, some yellowtail, some wahoo, some tuna...just they are all over the place. Here is one from this week....didnt take pics of today's catch of yellowtail.
I bet fishing improves in December...fingers crossed!

That must be so much fun. I have toyed with the idea of kayak fishing and would love to try it.
