Midlife crisis? You might consider adding an avatar to spice things up. Turns out there's a tropical fish called the "Silver Dollar" which would seem to go right along with Fishbuck. Wikipedia entry below, suggested avatar as well. Also, Buck Baja might not be the way to go. Sounds like an after hours dancer for the ladies at Cabo Wabo. Just sayin.

User name change?

I have never been a user of online forums, and discovered this one while searching for storm damage info after Norbert and Odile washed the peninsula. To ask a question, I had to come up with a user name, and I spent less time thinking about it than this post will take. I thought I would maybe get an answer and be done with it, but by now I have over two thousand posts!

A long time user (let's call him Bajagroucher) was offended by my reply to his topic, and called me AKdingo! I kind of like it! I have always been a dog lover, and it is more unique.

So what do you think, should I change?

If I did change, would my history follow me, or be lost? Just a thought, and not a deep one at that.

You have to get help from Doug. Several here have had name changes by either re-registering as a 'new' Nomad and starting fresh (jrbaja became Ski Baja for a while). This is usually from Nomads forgetting their log-in password and not waiting to get help or seeing how to.

Then there are some who asked Doug and he changed their name and their post count and all followed to the new name (BajaTaco became Taco de Baja and jdtrotter became Diana T, for example).
