If I remember right, Isla Ballena was the island that has some really cool caves we dove in years ago...love that area!

Odd rock formation - what's that structure on the top furthest right edge?

JZ - 1-17-2018 at 09:57 AM

A light.

Are these boat in only kind of beaches? In the third pic it looks like some thing parked on the small beach in the bottom left corner? Some very cool perspectives that drone pictures give you!

JZ - 1-18-2018 at 02:43 AM

Yeah, you need to take a boat.

This is the island where the pangeros from Tecolote beach take you for a swim with the aquatic wild life. After the swin, they stop at the nearest sandy beach and feed you a fresh lunch.

Nice photos. We took a cruise last week thru those waters on Uncruise. Nice little adventure boat that visits the islands for hiking, snorkeling exploring and even some mule riding in Aqua Verde. Enjoyed it even tho I have been visiting those areas since the early '70's. Always something new to see. Many sperm whales a few miles out.
