Missing rider around LA Bay

Heard rumor of a missing and then found dead dirt bike rider around LA Bay. Anyone with any info?

I am at San Carlos, south of El Rosario and the lease holder of the property here flew in yesterday and a friend of his, a helicopter pilot that flies down here got contacted about flying to bay of LA to look for this guy. Not enough range to fly there and was rounding up a plane to fly down when he was told the rider was found and deceased. That's all I know.

Heard today this was true. No name given, just that he an some other dirt bike riders were headed to the Pacific from Bay of LA and he was bebind the other 3, he crashed had bad injuries, punctured lung etc. Was deceased when tbey located him. That is all the info I have. RIP.

Sometime around February 5

Tourist found dead in area between Punta Prieta and Santa Rosaliíta.

A man, apparently of Dutch origin, was traveling on his motorcycle in the company of three other people, between Bahía de Los Angeles and Santa Rosaliíta.

At some point on the road, the travel companions of the man between 60 and 65 years of age realized that he was no longer with them and they began retracing the route they had just traveled in an attempt to locate him. Authorities were then notified when they failed in that attempt.

However, the motorcyclists did not give up and once again returned back to the area they had previously searched and were finally able to find him in the desert, but unfortunately he was dead.
