Kian_boem98 - 3-21-2018 at 03:24 PM

i was staring into space & the girl i liked was walking by & she was looking at me while i was staring into space. then later i was staring at the wall & when i looked over i see her looking at me & smiling while she had her hands on her head. then the next day i heard her saying “i don’t know why he looks at me”?

If you surf don’t stop.
If you don’t surf don’t start.

No problem finding a petrol station that gives a fair pour between El Rosario and Jesus Maria.

Let me show you on my map. In 1983 I took the dirt road to space...and then went to the wall. Still lookin for the lost girl.

I believe that I did the same thing at a Grateful Dead show at Ventura County Fairgrounds June 13/ 1987

That lost girl will always play on my brain. The one that got away. ?

Life could be SO different now ????

I still want to know why you shouldn't tuck your ears into your hat.

WOW John , glad we were there !

Did you do the three day's so you could camp out the entire weekend ?

Ventura County Fairgrounds was my favorite venue due to the camping factor ( turned into a Dead city ) and next to the ocean...

We are so spoiled ( in a good way ) as those shows were epic , they lasted for many more hours then the limited shows of today.

No, my folks lived in Fillmore, so we just drove over every day. I have so many of my students today that are Deadheads, and they are so jealous that I saw them over 50 times at least. I remember an epic show up in Santa Barbara (1977?) that went on all day and into the night. Warren Zevon, Elvin Bishop, etc. and the Dead. A photo from that concert is the centerpiece photo in the Grateful Dead Family Album.

I used to have all my ticket stubs but they got lost somewhere in life.
