For what it is worth, I had to go to four different Calexico cambios before I found on that had pesos on March 5th.
One of them told me that they were having a hard time getting them from the Mexican banks. She then offered to change a hundred dollars for me, but
no more than that, so I went and found another one that had cash on hand.
I asked at the Wells Fargo there (my bank) about changing dollars, and they told me I could get euros, but no pesos. Helpful, eh?bajatrailrider - 3-22-2018 at 05:17 PM

The peso has already gained in the last couple of days...18.8 to 18.4 on the international market. When things are stable usually can get pesos or .5

I can't swear it is accurate. I went into the Bancomer in Mulege and asked the exchange rate for the day (cash) and it was a lot less than what was
shown online for Bancomer. However, if you average the buy/sell for a particular bank, that might give you an approximate ATM rate.bledito - 3-23-2018 at 02:26 PM
