Yeah, I had to rethink that a little. I got a place up the hill in senior housing. I had to wait for someone to die so I could get in. Relatively cheap for the area.
But I'm still renting my little $100 San Quintin house. I be down there enough to justify it.
My old beach house got tore down. My ex brother and sister in law built a brand new 3 story beach house. Gotta be the newest build.
The old shack was worth 3 mil.
I'm guessing the new place is 10mil. That's like 7gs/month in tax.
I lost my patio priveledges and my friend long ago.
He married my ex's sister.
She hates me.
But the beach is still free!

I may have known D. I had friends living upstairs. We would go up there and drink liqour store booze and go back to the bar and snip the expensive booze.
Although they use to sell "schooners" of beer fairly cheap.
We called them "BMFBs" Big M+×!#/F÷#&_:,Beers. The were cheap at happy hour.
But no more.
It ok cause I don't drink anymore. I want to live longer and be healhty. I am no longer an indestructible youth.
