I believe that the road was washed out some time ago but has it been repaired? Looking to Ride from Loreto down to Aqua Verde then ride up the hill
and over to Constitution. Has anyone done this lately?

We did it in December. Came in from Loreto. 2 bikes and a truck.
Took the bikes and truck up the wash until it starts up the mountain.
Pretty much as soon as the grade goes up is was totally washed out in a patch with a rock slide. Rode the bikes over it. Wasn't easy, but doable.
Rode over various patches of rocks for about another mile or so to a gate. Just past the gate was another huge wash out. We said screw it and went
back.
With a bike it will be challenging, but not impossible. I'm going to give it another go in August.

Btw, we ended up riding from Constitution to San Evaristo, and then down to La Paz. That is a killer ride. Easy on a bike and very doable in a

JZ would it be possible to move some rocks for a 4x4 to get thru. Is the washout a large hole? In other words is this route a lost cause for a 4x4 or

I'd doubt you could drive it. It's like a big rock slide. Thousands of rocks. Created a slope to the cliff edge.
Then after that there are rocks here and there up to the gate, then another big slide area.
I'm not a 4x4 expert by any means, but I'd say it would be pretty hard.
I might have some drone footage of it. I'll check tonight.

Thanks, it would be nice to see the problem areas. When we first did that road in 2013 I think it was the government that had a grader and maybe a

Have you ridden from Constitucion to Timbabichi. Fun run with a breath taking trip down (or up) the mountain when you get close. Some really beautiful
beaches on the coast. Interesting story of the family that built the hacienda. It all started with finding a pearl.
