To REALLY appreciate how HUGE a win this is for Mexico ... take a look at these statistics for Germany between 1990-2018 for their FIFA World Cup
opening matches against an opponent. Germany 'always' wins and sometimes 'slaughters' the other team. The numbers tell it all.
Mexico and their coach deserve a huge high-five for this upset.

While I really don't give a Rat's Poop about Soccer, I have an old and close German friend who does and took the loss REALLY hard.
Ya Gotta enjoy the misery of any adult who takes ANY sporting event that hard.
While I have to admit to once being a hardcore Dodger fan in the '50s and '60s, I was a KID (well, teen) and grew up.

would have been bummed with this outcome!
