Though I have been through Tecate numerous times I have not had an occasion to look for parking on the Mexican side to walk across the border. I can
see the street parking but was wondering if there was any secure parking on the Mexican side close to the pedestrian crossing?

There is a pay lot , on Libertad street , 200 ft from SouthWest corner of Miguel Hidalgo Park ( the one you see a short distance after crossing south)
