Ron_Perry - 6-21-2018 at 07:50 PM

Hola everyone, heading down early July for three weeks of fishing and diving...La Ventana. What is the easiest way to pick up a fishing license and boat permit? Thanks to all, Ron

Fishing permit at any respectable saltwater tackle store in Southern California

And you can a get a fishing license online.
Here..... https://www.sportfishingbcs.gob.mx/

Boat permits are long gone.....not needed.

That's correct, you need a TIP. Follow advice from discoverbaja.
Enjoy your trip!

Tip yes for boats over 4.5 meters.

A TIP is a different animal from the classic "boat permit" of years past.

Those fishing licenses on line. Ya just put in your credit card and nothing happens. Except you get charged and the customer service phone line says “call back later”
It has worked before ...maybe my index finger is faster than the internet. I’ll wait a bit and see.

I bought mine last weekend online w/ out any problem. Same link as above.

The license did appear in an email. So...it does work, be more patient than I was.
