I took this photo of Toledo from our balcony in a converted convent on a hill overlooking the city.
Legend has it that El Greco painted his famous ’View of Toledo’ from this site. Some call it ‘Toledo in a Storm’.
Anyway after 400 years it’s still there. The artist moved the Cathedral closer to the Alcazar.
