Posted this in the wrong forum earlier.

I have a good friend headed to La Paz next month. I've not been in yrs, can anyone recommend good restaurants, boats, things to see/do? Appreciate any information, thanks.

Costa Baja has several very good restaurants. Sushi place out there is very good.

Rent a jeep (they will deliver it to the hotel). Drive out on the beaches past Tecolote.

Drive up to San Evarsito if you want a big, all day adventure.

We highly recommend Maria California for breakfast or lunch or dinner. Great food and interesting décor.

X 2 for Maria California - we also like La Catolica on Isabel La Catolica for breakfast or lunch. Both of these places are really popular so be prepared to wait in line for a table. Maria California is just a block off of the malecon. La Catolica is farther out of the "centro" area.

I'm assuming your friend knows it will be hot and humid as all get-out in La Paz in Sept, right? Both of the above restaurants have an inside room with AC and outside terrace tables with fans.

For fish tacos - the fish taco place on Marquez de Leon- name is something like "Taco Fish La Paz" . It's about 8 or 9 blocks up M.de Leon from the malecon.

Also for fish - McFisher on Morelos a couple blocks up from the malecon.

Hi Linda, yes, he's from Houston so is well versed in heat and humidity. I appreciate the info, will pass it on, thank you.

I also want to be sure to mention EL SARAPE restaurant, which is next to Tail Hunter. Right on the boardwalk/malecon.

You go in, bear to the right, and climb the stairs at the far end. Upstairs is empty. They have a wonderful balcony.

Order the chilaquiles. One order is enough for 4 people! Sooo good.
