Farley Mowat has returned. Seen it almost daily near Campo Pai-Pai where I'm staying.

They have supporters and detractors, I'm in the former,
but I'm not a San Felipe panga fisherman. Heard the
local San Felipe panga fleet is fishing shrimp as of 3-4
days ago, not knowing exactly, although using nets
to shrimp fish, I don't assume they are drift nets being allowed
to suspend overnite, there is bycatch in this shrimp fishing,
to the contrary of some opinions, Bajamary how is Pai Pai ?

Supportive of their presence there again.
I support sustainable local commercial fishing as long as it is legal and uses the best methods for the safety of the environment and the fishery.
The results are amazing if everyone does that.
The "no fish" zones here on the SoCal coast are producing an abundance of large fish.
Fishing has never been better here.
The upper Cortez will fill with fish if they stop scraping the bottom of the ocean everyday there and killing every living thing they can find.
That is what was happening here and it was dismal.
So maybe Sea Sheppard can help encourage conservation and best practices for the Cortez.
And someday a fishery for giant Totus will return. And a WSB fishery, and...
