I posted finding submerged aircraft in New Guinea waters a while back. I now have the names of the pilots and, so far, info on only one.
James R Glenny and the other pilots; Thomasson, Christian, and Slupe, were rescued by flying boat the three days after they ditched their P38's on
October 12, 1944. Glenny was killed a month later on November 10. He was only 23 years old.

He was a good man! Most 23 year olds today.........
