LAUNCH UPDATE: A United Launch Alliance #DeltaIV Heavy carrying the #NROL71 mission for the @NatReconOfc is set to launch on Dec. 18. The mission will
lift off from Space Launch Complex-6 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Calif. Launch time is 5:57 p.m. PST.
The launch was originally planned to happen on Friday, December 7, but it was scrubbed due to an issue with a “redundant communication link between
the control center and launch site.”
The next launch date for the Delta IV Heavy rocket was then set for Saturday, December 8. It was delayed for a few minutes before a hold was placed
just three seconds before liftoff.
