Last night, Baja Nomad's own Doug and his lady Michelle and I drove to San Diego for the event at a micro brewery for some fun, food, and door prizes.
Baja 1000 champion for 2018, and TV show host Cameron Steele was there (his first time at the Baja Bound party) and dozens of other Baja racers and
travelers.

We arrived about 7 and left about 10. It was nice to talk again with fellow Baja enthusiasts (Lory Perfect, Tim & Jen Mortin, Hank Mortin, and
others). I met a fellow from Coronado who worked with Bud Bernhard and made the long hike to Mission San Pedro Mártir. Just one of many Baja mountain
hikes he made with Bud.
The book that contains some of these Bud hike stories is 'Baja California Adventures' by Froylan Tiscareño (2013).
