What kind of person changes the price after the truck is loaded?
He gave a price over the phone, confirmed that price when I arrived and then after it was loaded , said it was more. I had more money, but it was not
worth more.

Next time... maybe pay the agreed price before loading the truck?
I am surprised he let you load it all before getting the money!
