Pretty wild and to see the stage 1 land and then 10 Iridium satellites put in orbit in this video... neat!

Not any idea, but my inReach experience was perfect so don't know how it could be any better.

PaulW - 1-13-2019 at 09:11 AM

more satellites means better accuracy and less dropout.
No report that they are changing the radio frequency we are using

BajaTed - 1-13-2019 at 10:05 AM

Some of those satellites get parked in a different orbit for future use or as a back up also.
The pencil landings are so cool.

Not sure. I know they scrubbed it a number of times.

That Delta 4 can't possibly be sitting on the launch pad since December. They must have moved it to an assembly building, I would think.

I wouldn't think so either. I've been on the base and seen the silos they have. Not sure what is going on.

Thanks for this, I would of missed it.

You're welcome.

I follow them on twitter, they cover space launches from all around the world.

David K - 1-19-2019 at 11:03 AM

Live video coverage begins at 10:45 PST today:

Well, seeing on TV was beautiful... launched at 11:10. Sadly, even with a clear, blue sky, my valley location didn't allow me to see any of the rocket, contrail or otherwise... I must not be pointed west enough?
