Between Camalu and Erendira. Was part of a Baja Beach Bash a few years back. One of those hidden trails.;D

Appreciate it mjs.

Do you happen to remember where it was relative to Colonet Point?

advrider - 1-25-2019 at 07:25 PM

Looks like the spider web trail that they ran on the rip to the tip! I would love to find that one for sure...

Go onto Google Earth and see it about 3 miles north of Punta (Cabo) Colonet. It sure looks like a fun ride and what I would enjoy doing when I rode a trail bike!

Thanks, David and other posters....I spent an hour last night on GE checking that coastline for likely arroyos....hope to spend several days riding there on my way home in March...it's hard to get enough Pacific coastal riding...

I am surprised to not see bajatrailrider in this thread? Larry is probably out enjoying the perfect conditions of sunshine after so many weeks of rain?

There is also interesting coastline and geology north of San Antonio del Mar and south of Ejido Eréndira!

JZ - 1-26-2019 at 12:44 PM

I'm on mobile and haven't checked it out yet on GE. How hard does it look to get to the trail head at the coast?

David K - 1-26-2019 at 01:17 PM

You can drive right to the lower end of the canyon from Colonet or San Antonio del Mar and not go on the beach.

TMW - 1-26-2019 at 01:28 PM

There are lots of road and many fences and gates in that area. It's probably best to plot a path or 2 or 3 on Google Earth.

Here are a couple of images from GE, I think I have the right location.

Pin 1 is at the bottom of the hill as you come in from the Hwy.

Pin 2 is a junction where you can join the trail closer to the ocean.

We are hoping to hook up with Bajatrailrider in March and do some ridding in his area, I'm sure he knows this one...

motoged - 1-27-2019 at 09:24 AM

When in March and is there room for one more? I have a week or so around March 11-20th on my way north from Bahia Asuncion....and will be likely staying in Erindira as a base for that time slot...

advrider - 1-27-2019 at 10:02 AM

We plan to be at Cal's Saturday March 2nd, plan to ride Sunday and Maybe Monday before we head South. There are only 3 of us, so I'm sure there will be room. I will talk to Larry when we get closer to the day, you might send him a message.

This looks like the trail.

The line is the auto road down to the trail, where the lower end of the bike ride begins (or ends). The line then goes the short distance in the arroyo to the beach.

I have been stopping there for years, very cool spot, though there was a lot more garbage last year. I'd post a pic but I just forgot how

bajatrailrider - 1-30-2019 at 10:03 PM

Ok David I been riding from last week Dec to yesterday 19 days. Now on meds to stop riding few days haaaa. I can take you guys to that trail. It is very tight and slow going but fun. We have just opened up 4 more single track trails .
