Geary passed away recently surrounded by his family in Marin County.
I will miss watching him broadcast his morning cruiser weather forecast, the Spanish lessons @ his beach cottage and c-cktail cruising around the bay.

Geary was also very active with the Mulege Rotary Club. Always enjoyed his MC'ing the chili cook-off, listened to his morning Sonrisa broadcast from
his El Burro beach house, the guy was amazing. DEP, you will be sorely missed.

Listening to his 8 AM weather forecasts on VHF during my winter stays on Bahia Concepcion was a daily thing with me. I missed them as soon as he
stopped a few months ago and left for hospice care in the US. He always said which way "the pointy ends of the boats" in the bay were pointed to
describe the morning wind direction.
