Yes, many years ago. Just on main roads. South of San Felipe only 10 miles, last I looked.

All over the world. I took a trip through some small Japanese towns the other day. I really like their wooden houses. And, if you want, you can listen to a radio station in or near the town you're exploring.

I clicked on one of the windows of one of the casas. To my surprise there was a beautiful senorita - naked.

I was out in my driveway welding a utility trailer when they drove through my Anchorage neighborhood. That was a few years ago, but the street view image now looks like it is about two years old, and I have disappeared!

Those little walking tours in google street view are pretty common in touristy areas of the world.

When I check mine I see my Lab Chazz standing in my driveway.

Thanks lencho

That was fun! In the overhead view, I was able to resurrect the trailer in front of my garage by going back to 2010, but not in street view.

Baja Angel's (Elizabeth's) Jeep CJ-5 is parked in front of my Oceanside home in early street view images there. That would be from 2005-2007 before she got a Toyota!

interesting
we got a clever tool to explore sites we have never been to
and everyone checks their own house

StuckSucks - 8-1-2019 at 11:43 AM

Google Street View was launch in 2007 -- I have been using it for many years. Ditto for the interesting locations, eg:

The Colorado River in the bottom of the Grand Canyon

La Paz Bay

Vail Ski Resort

Diagon Alley (for you Potter fans)

Emirates Airbus A380

Nasir Al Mulk Mosque

Mayan Ruins in Mexico

... and so on.

Have skied that run in Vail a few times.

StuckSucks - 8-1-2019 at 05:10 PM

A couple more:

Sarastro in London

The White House

Scott’s Hut in Antarctica

Mammoth Mountain

Search and Rescue in Baja

The Smithsonian American Art Museum in DC

The Venice Canals (Grand Canal)

San Francisco De La Sierra
