Bahía de los Ángeles

HeyMulegeScott - 12-5-2019 at 10:43 AM

From San Quentin, we hit the road for LA Bay. The road was still narrow in Catavina but in very good shape. Trying to keep a motorhome between the lines was made harder by strong winds. I almost stopped at Santa Ynez but decided to press on.

Once we got to the turn off the winds weren't so bad and there thankfully no trucks trying to set land speed records. We opted to stay at Daggett's. A little spendy at $20 per night for dry camping but we did enjoy the hot showers and beach.

After looking at the options in town and La Gringa (pretty rocky road) we decided to stay Daggett's for the week.

Cloudy day

Looks to be a Rad Rover. I own one. A life changing event; owning an ebike.

JZ - 12-5-2019 at 08:08 PM

Excellent pics!

Cool report. Any more pics of animas?

HeyMulegeScott - 12-6-2019 at 08:38 AM

Thanks!

Hook - it is a Radrover. It's a blast. Great Baja bike. I took my full suspension mtn bike last year and hardly rode for lack of trails. This bike goes everywhere.

advrider - Here's a few more -

Road out. Beatiful drive but a bit rough.

Colorful rock art at the turnoff.

Could you ride that rad rover down the beach or would it be a struggle?

Deep sand can be a little tricky but we air down and they do pretty good. A ton of fun.
