Covid-19 may have long-term effects

The video is rather technical, but you can watch it from 17.45 time-stamp: Video

Some of the findings:
For patients with severe symptoms who survived, the damage was well beyond the lungs.

In those who survived mild and severe diseases alike, many of the biological measures had "failed to return to normal". Most worrisome result was that those apparently recovered patients continued to have impaired liver function, even after 2 tests for the live virus came back negative.

Heart failure was seen in 12% of survivors, including some who had no respiratory symptoms.

Was thinking a derivative of Quota. Word of the day for me.

...... not a nice word in medicine , a malignant form of malaria occurring daily.
