In a week or so the kittens will be given away so I am taking tons of photos to remember them by!
They are a handful of great fun and have gotten so much tamer. They may just turn into lap cats yet!
Many have suggested they be given away in pairs? Those of you with experience - is this true?
Most of these photos were taken yesterday as they explored and partially destroyed some of my plants on the front porch. Kids will be kids!
Frida has a full time job keeping an eye on these toddlers. But all she has to do is make some special purr and they all come right to her. She
brings them rodents every day. It is quite disgusting but the call of the wild reigns in her.
This photo is of the kittens feeding when Frida is not remotely interested in participating Hahaha She didn't even lie down!
Junior the roadrunner comes by every other day. I am pretty sure he is looking for a spot to make his nest and is quite shocked that the kittens and
Frida are in the garage. We still have the nest twigs he collected years ago, right in the corner of the garage.
He clacks and I looked it up - it means he is defending his territory. Yesterday he was clacking away for at least 10 minutes and his partner was
clacking away as well. I never saw her.
I feel like the parent who has bumped their child out of the house, Jeez, louise!
The twigs which never became a proper nest in the end, I think Mamma Junior did not concur with the location.
Junior as he clacked loudly.
We will be keeping Frida but hope to find good homes for these bambinos soon.motoged - 7-22-2020 at 08:42 AM

Those dogs are AMAZINGLY cute too. No comparison really, cats have their charm and dogs are simply the best, always! We really, truly, completely
miss our puppy Rex!

"We estimate that free-ranging domestic cats kill 1.3–4.0 billion birds and 6.3–22.3 billion mammals annually. Un-owned cats, as opposed to owned
pets, cause the majority of this mortality."
I like cats and had a few before I switched to dogs. Always good to have an animal or two or three around the house.

My mom is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. She lives with my sister in San Diego and they recently got her a cat. The transformation has been
incredible! My mom is so much happier. Being quite a social person, she has really felt the effects of not being able to go out. The cat keeps her
entertained all day long with antics, won't let her type on her laptop and snuggles into her hand every morning. How cute is that?!
I think we are the lucky ones to have cats and dogs in our lives, not the other way around!
