Named after the Jesuit padre/ explorer, Fernando Consag... who put this pair of rocks on his 1747 map made following his canoe expedition to the Colorado Delta from San Carlos inlet, northeast of his mission, San Ignacio. The little boats began the sailing trip from Loreto.
