Word!

Serious plant nerd, good speaker and happily gives credits to others for their discoveries.

The presentation part which intrigued me most was about the rare winter rain in the southern half of Baja which causes long dormant species to pop up. During these hundred year events the very moist and short daylight combine to bring plants to life again.

The plant like this he referenced was last seen in Baja in 1935.

Anyways, really enjoyed the presentation and hope others did too.
