We took a day trip to Mikolajki, a town on a lake. We have been there a couple times before, this was the first time it was pretty quiet with not
that many people around.
Look who I found! She really has become international!
This map shows Wegorzewo (the town Les's brother lives in) at the top and Mikolajki a bit down. The lakes are connected by canals. You would not
believe how many boats are there. Hundreds for rent, hundreds that are moored and in the 2 hours we were there, I noticed 3 ferryboats leave with
passengers.
I am slouched down because I ran down the boardwalk and back while lunch was being made. Les nor his sister wanted to walk and I have to lose weight

It really is one of the best ones. It is at the end, closest to the bridge and they really have unique items.
Boats are such a way of life here and every stand and store has sea items from shirts to mugs to hats.
This is mainly a destination for Poles and they do a roaring business under normal circumstances.
