Rats in the pantry ?

Recently a Nomad posted that he was aware of content shared between some Nomads.

How is this possible? I was under the impression it was a private message tool.

Was that person somehow able to hack into BN and get such information... or is there a way the rest of us can read U2U's not sent to us by others?

The information on u2u's has been posted here before Ged. Nothing's changed.

If someone's "aware of content" either someone shared that with them (such as forwarding a u2u, etc), or they would've had to access the site's database. Which one sounds more likely?

If true (and maybe it's not?), I suspect that "Occam's razor" would apply in this instance in determining how one was "aware of content" in a u2u.

btw... if you decide to take this info and then use it as reason to assertively respond directly to another user here on the board... please know you will be put in a timeout. A permanent one if necessary.

Thank you for your very kind consideration and cooperation.

fwiw... an additional "possibility" would be directly accessing another user account by either being provided with login info, or - less likely - guessing/hacking that user's password.

And as far as hacking the database, it's in infinitesimal chance of that compared to those other scenarios noted above.
