The full TV show from 1972 is about 50 minutes, and other than a short preview scene, the Baja part begins after Minute 20 and is quite good for the
remaining 30 minutes.
Plimpton spends time with Jackie Stewart in the beginning and then goes to San Diego to meet Johnny Johnson who he will be co-driving with.
Plimpton also visits the Bill Stroppe Bronco shop and talks with Parnelli Jones there.
Keep in mind, the race was on the main road to La Paz from Ensenada for much of the distance (was a dirt road from Camalu to Constitución in ''71).
Only the part south of San Ignacio to near La PurÃsima deviated from the common main road to la Paz.
