Hotel Calafia

Geared, (priced), for domestic travelers, walk to malecon, Mariscos Toro Guero 2 blocks away.

Hotel Yaneka is good too, and can bring the bike inside.

B&B Casa Juarez.

Has a 9.8 of 10 rating on Hotels.com.

Can bring bikes into their lobby. They also have a covered and secure garage across the street. Really nice place.

About a block off the main part of the malecon.

Hotel Arte y Museo Yeneka has a very eclectic collection both in front and inside. I have always wondered what it was like to stay there.

There are also no tell motels which allow you to spend the whole night - they are exceptionally clean and have individual closed garages. When we had a packed SUV, we stayed one as you enter La Paz. Do nmot remember the name.

CAsa Buena B&B

Not a block or two from the Malecon but a really comfortable place - very secure parking. We've stayed in hotels along the Malecon but find this place much more relaxing. Nice pool if weather permits.

I've stayed at the Hyatt about a half dozen times when we are using the marina at Costa Baja. Like it a lot. I would not consider it a super secured parking lot compared to the other places mentioned here. We left the dirt bikes in the truck and locked them well.

Stayed once at Las Gaviotas. Hated it. Would not stay there again. Big thumbs down.

But they have 24 hour staff at Hyatt and the parking lot is well lit,Adjacent to the hotel and 24 hour security. Give Los Gaviotas a second try , The suites are inexpensive and the hotel is under new ownership and management.

I'm also on the hunt for some solid accommodation recommendations in La Paz, so I'm glad I stumbled upon this post. Secure motorcycle parking is a must for me too, and being close to the Malecon is definitely a plus. I totally feel ya on not wanting anything too fancy. Just clean, quiet, and secure is all we need, am I right?
