New Year, new development

The Gringo Gazette reports a large development planned for the Las Playitas neighborhood north of Todos Santos. The area has seen unprecedented growth in the past 5 years. I still remember the road being unpaved beyond Los Pinos market.

Maybe the bullet train to Cabo will stop there? LOL, just joking!
Happy New Year...

David,

The “Cabo Bullet Train” will probably stop in Fresno before any other “High Speed Rail service” too!

Happy New Year!

Doesn't look like enough land to fit all that. So high rises and density sandwiched between agriculture? Here is an article explaining issues and push-back. E.g., "It does not create a plan for funding our currently needed sewage, solid waste, water, and electrical infrastructure needs. It only adds to them by dramatically increasing the number of residents." Plus the water table of the aquifer is being used at an unsustainable rate.

Same can be said of every development in baja. Such has rarely (never?) stopped any other development!

That development sure seems impossible to sustain.
