XM Radio in Baja


Just put an xm radio on my motorcycle and wonder if anyone can tell me if they work dow to Cabo area. 4 more days and im on my way. Thanks Terry

I have read postings on other boards and they say that they get reception all the way down.

Likewise, I don't have the service, but have been interested myself, and noticed postings elsewhere online noting service all the way down with some areas being somewhat spotty.

I put XM in my truck 6 months ago and love it. I heard form the allcoast board and amigos board that you can get it all the way down expect for somewhere around Todos Santos.
I'll find out in 16 days! Can't wait!

I have the DELPHI XM system in both my car and in my home. It works absolutely perfect driving down.
You may experience a "fade-out" if the antenna is blocked from a South exposure, but quickly pops back in when the South sky is avail again. Same for your house antenna.
We like the Delphi module system.
The annual cost is 119 dollars.

Thanks for all the info. Now if Marty doesnt give us too much trouble-- will be leaving Vegas wed am first stop Rosarito at the beach hotel.
Capt Mike , I would love to have you with us. Maybe next time unless you can get ready by this time. Heading back on oct 5, First stop on the way back Loreto.
