and it almost looks as if it was tied with string to produce that effect.
One thing for sure is, I wouldn't want a whomping from that stick behind Skeeters ol :lol:woodshed!
I will see if I can find some pictures of square bamboo. What'll they think of next ?:O

I believe that is Phyllostachys pubescens var "Moso"
Trained to be square.....

do they mess with the bamboo


to get it square or does it just grow naturally like that in some remote part of the world.....if its not natural does anyone know what they do to make it square?

When the new shoots emerge they frame a square box to form the quad shape....Pretty ingenius as he sells the square poles for $$$$$. The bamboo naturally is round.
This guy is a huge operation and must have many acres to grow goods.
