Surf spots on the net

Found this and figured some of you must be interested ---

Surf?s up!

WaveWatch is the ultimate surfer site. It features wave forecasts and the latest surfing news. There are even live Webcams at 15 popular U.S. surf spots.

An interactive world map shows swell, surf and wind patterns for the upcoming week. Avid surfers will want to sign up for alerts. You?ll receive an e-mail notification when wave conditions meet criteria you specify.

There?s also a handy-dandy desktop WaveWatch program. You?ll see a seven-day forecast of wave conditions. Access temperatures, tide times and wind speeds right from your desktop. You can choose from a variety of locations around the world.

An always-on Internet connection is required for the desktop software. Windows PCs require a 700 MHz processor and 128 MB RAM. For Mac's OS X, a G3 processor and 128 MB is required.

If you know surfers, tell them about this site. They?ll dig it!
