East Coast Road: a question

Several of us, all seasoned Baja east coast travelers are considering a trip from San Felipe to Gonzaga on 9/30, with a few going on to Bahia de Los Angeles. Do any of you have info about the damage between San Felipe and, particularly, the dirt stretch between Puertecitos and Gonzaga? Most appreciative for any info in a time when everyone wants info.

Baja really

OK Mike, I have the utmost respect for you, your writing, what you did for your family and kids, and how you look at things now. And I especially thank you for your insight and ideas which have certainly made me change my ways of looking at some things.
BUT, with your "east coast seasoning" along with other vehicles going along to assist, pretend like it was a few years back in Baja and take a folding shovel! hahahahahaha.
No offense intended and hopefully, none taken.
