San Felipe hotel recomendations?

Hi all,
long time no post, but I lurk once in awhile.
BHL and I want a nice room for June 11,12,13, our 6th anniversary on the 12th, and Davids Birthday on the 13th.There has been so much building going on, a few places we saw going up when we were there about a year ago. Must be finished by now. BHL mentioned something about Marina Pacifica, anyone have an opinion? what are prices looking like? We would like something with a little kitchenet
Thanks in advance,
Hugs to all,
M

I'd like to help you M, but I live here in San Felipe so never use the hotels.

The Chapala has a couple of kitchenettes.. We stay there cause it is right down town, within walking distance to everything, and clean. I like the third story on the street side, very noisy, but if you drink enough you can sleep thru it. And you can see over everything towards the bay. About $50, some inside parking, nightwatchman, but no boat space. When we have boats, we use the Costa Azul, about a half a block on south............... wayno

El cortez

has bungalows on the beach with kitchenettes. More expensive than some others but they are the closest to the water... try www.sanfelipe.com.mx and see if there is anything that strikes your fancy. Congrats on your anniversary k:yes::yes:

I second the El Cortez recommendation

Nice rooms, right on the beach, nice restaurant, staff friendly.

Thanks everybody, & Keri...

My mom & I will be coming to the Pyramid for the night of the 8th. We won't need a kitchen, just a nice room. Prefer 2 beds.
Sounds like the Cortez it is. Thanks for posting that picture Ken, appreciate the trouble.
Hugs, M
