Hiya George, We made it back safe and sound last night.
The fishing was great, and the hurricane was most impressive, sadly it did severe damage to the marina. Most all of the NE corner and the E wall are gone and several pangas were lost.
The Malecon was strewn with rocks up to 300 pounds or so and there were many palm trees uprooted. Most all streets were flooded at least for a short time and the arroyo south of town was just getting passable on Friday.
The power company workers are to be commended, they had power restored in about eight hours, considering the damage and the number of downed trees, I thought this was exceptional.
More to come tomorrow with details on the fishing and a report on the new reel I used.
Talk to You all tomorrow
Dan/Oregon/Loreto
P.S. George, thx for the concern

The house was just fine George, with the exception of rain coming in around the bedroom a c, which also cooked that unit.
This was very minor as the rest of the house and amenities were quite nice.
We were met by Mike and Mimi, they showed us the need to know items and then Mike was off for England, not sure just how long he was going to be gone.

We make our permenent move in just over a year, hope to see you then.
