Is there water in Laguna Hanson?

Hello out there. Does anyone know if there is any water in Laguna Hanson? I am interested in going kayak camping there but don't want to go if the lake is dry. There have been a few storms this summer but I am not sure if the rain has been up in the mountains or just along the coast. Has anyone been there lately to check it out?

Laguna Hanson

Although I haven't been there for a while, I wouldn't plan a kayaking trip there. At best you would be very confined. Especially when there is La Bufadora and the Puerticitos areas that are probably faster to get to and a lot more to see and do.

there is some water @ Laguna Hanson. Not near as much as there used to be because the springs that used to feed it have dried up. It is still very much worth the trip to see the granite outcropppings and tall Jeffrey pines. There are two cabins available for rent and many exellent campsites. The road in from Mx hwy 3 was smooth last March. Temps dipped into the 20's. Rob:smug:
