Garmin Map

Does anyone use the Garmin map # MSU021R while in Baja....if so, does it cover the area between Mulege and La Paz?

Used MUS021R map in Garmin GPS 176 at Mulege this summer, worked fine but didnot pay attention about father south. Big issue, cross referenced with another GPS, # exact, however map was offset all most a mile from #. Like using old GPS without chart plotter, No nightime or low vis help near shore, need to punch waypoints. Talked to Garmin, not intended as only means of navigation. Love that map on West coast thou. Bill

GARMIN MAPS

Bill, thanks for info....does the map show any bottom structure? The one I use here in the Keys is awesome and exact,,,shows single coral heads....Is your unit/map WASS enabled?

Off to Loreto in about two weeks, will stay through May, hauling a 19 ft Dusky.
Maybe see you there......George

Units are WAAS enabled, used GPS 176 and Garmin 182. Map details not as good as Calif coast, however shows contours, depth, reefs and stuff for navigation. As most fishing there is done in the daytime very easy to associate map with shoreline. Have a safe trip down and enjoy. Bill
