Bud "E"??!! Aauughhh, gotta talk to Raaaalph about the Buuuuiick... I was in Famous Sam's in Yuma today, having a Killian's draft and a pastrami samich (not as good as u-no-hu's, but edible), there was a display thingee there for this OTC syrup and I asked the young lady behind the bar if they actually sold much of it. She said some... on the weekends. Some people liked it mixed with vodka... Cada loco con su tema...

As for Mexicali, I agree. I have a native Cachanilla bud here. We go over to the Calafia ring for the bulls in the Fall sometimes if any of the top killers are in town, and I saw Luciano Pavarotti there with someone who knew from whence he spoke, Roberto; "That ain't singing in the shower". Says a lot about how far the town has come to pull off something of that international stature. Is it a major TOURIST attraction? No. That's what I, and I speck Braulio, like most about it. It is a complete Mexican City in its own right which is NOT dependent on tourism. Therefore, the people there are not always fawning upon, nor trying to con gringos, nor are they hostile to them. As long as one does not do the "Ugly American" thing, people are as friendly, straightforward, unpretentious and helpful as oh, let's say midwesterners.

As for the original direction of this thread... Yeah, but that's what the "scroll wheel" on the mouse is for.

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

MeNO and Cap Mike - I was just kidding around a little - jeez Louise - are you guys like retarded or something. bufeo has an extensive vocabulary - I respect that.

Haven't you taken note of the way I treat Oso? - He's probably the guy I respect most on this board - right after JR.

You guys need to grab a couple of brewskis or something.

Un-freaking-believable.

Braulio,

No apology necessary. I didn't feel pilloried by your comment, but after Me No's and Mike's comments (BTW, thanks guys.) I did re-read it to see if I had suffered an attack of dull-wittedness (not uncommon lately).
