Rosarito, Ensenada or anywhere near or in-between

Anyone stayed in this area of Mexico?

I have 3 year old twins and need a place with full hook-ups and a restuarant, either on-site or very near by. A store would by nice too. I surf and would like to be near the ocean, so I'd like to avoid any inland resorts. My wife loves shopping too. Does anybody know of a place to stay which will accomodate all our needs(wants). Any suggestions are welcomed.

Only place that comes close is Baja Seasons. It's about halfway between Rosarito and Ensenada...2 miles south of La Mision, one mile north of La Salina Marina. No shopping though, everything else.

Check out Estero Beach, six miles south of Ensenada. It is situated on a big bay, perfect for the babies to get in the water,no waves. Just up the beach are several beach breaks, within walking distance. Are you camping or RVing? Beautiful Rv area, right on the water with trees and grass and a board walk that wraps all the way around the park.Several small stores and taco stands, etc, on the road just above Estero.

Hey Lovemy2twins!, If you are going down next week and decide to go to Estero, I'll be there with my whole family for our annual reunion. My family has been going to Estero (shut up JR) for over fifty years, before there was much there but a beautiful beach and bay. It is an awesome family resort! Let me know and I'll look for the twins! Hasta Luego, Sally

Estero

Hi Sally South.

We will be down there Aug 9-12. That is...depending on whether or not they'll let us buy wristbands for the pool. I'm supposed to speak with the manager about it tomorrow . I guess they don't allow RV guests access to the pool.

Yeah, Thats a bummer and kinda stupid if you ask me! My brother and family are Rving down there right now for four weeks. They said there are only about 10 Rvs in the whole park, so maybe because it is not so crowded they will give you a couple of wristbands. Tell them you really want to use the swim-up bar and buy lots of drinks! That might do it! We will just miss each other as we are leaving on the 8th! Have fun, you'll love it!!(take your bikes if you have any, it is the perfect bikeriding area) Hasta, Sally
