Windows at Palmas

The windows at Palmas de Cortez has/had real impressive looking storm protection role down shutters. Apparently they did'nt work or did someone forget to role them down? I read that Marty blew all the restaurant windows out. Does anyone know of a better system?

Windows at Palmas

I don't know if there is any hurricane proof system. I heard that we lost a sliding glass door set. It has only been in place about 18 months, and the outfit that we purchased from in Ensenada gave us a 15 year warranty on the glass and a 18 year warranty on the frame. We'll need to find out if hurricanes are an exception to the warranty. If they aren't, maybe the "solution" to blown out windows is a loooong warranty.:light:
