a song
In light of all the Who is Who silliness going on here lately a song keeps popping up in my head............
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together
See how we run like pigs from a gun, see how we fly, I'm cryin'
Sitting on a cornflake, I'm waiting for the van to come
Corporation t-shirts, stupid bloody Tuesday, man you've been a naughty boy
You let your face grow long
I am the egg man
We are the egg men
I am the walrus
coo coo ca choo
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

Since the words make little sense, I'm assuming this is a rock song. Is this a current song ?

Baja Train Song: sung to the cingcapated clock tune from way back:
Ready let's go!
SONG:
Passengers will please reframe from flushing torlit's while the train is standing in the station, I love youuu. If you feel you must make water please
call the pormenporter he will place a receptacal in the best of you. We all favor constipation while the train is in the station, moonlight always
makes me think of youuuu. Let go dashing through the park goosing statues for a lark if Fox's horse can take so can youuuuuu!
What a standing ovation!!!!
We all want a peaceful world, filled with love and laughter, but we fill ourselves with anger and hate trying to fiqure out how to achive it.

Not Young Enough
I was in the service when the Beatles came along (63-64 ?) and some of their early stuff was OK until they got fried on Acid. I guess I missed that
song. It was probably from those acid days.
I admit that I don't have much of a clue when it comes to Pop-Rock. Not my kind of music. Back when I commuted from YV to Palm Springs working for
GTE, there was a billboard at I10 and Indian. One day I noticed that it said "Commodores" (I think) and I wondered what the Heck that was all about.
I asked a co-worker and they told me it was a pop music group. It turned out the Billboard was being rented by a local radio station (KDES). Over
the months, they would change it to read some other "Artist" most of whom I had never heard of.
Anyway, thanks for the info.

One of my favorite songs (lyrics) comes from a song entitled "Let's Talk Dirty In Hawaiian"
I packed my bags and bought myself a ticket
For the land of the tall palm tree
Aloha old milwaukee, hello waikiki
I just stepped down from the airplane
When I thought I heard her say
Waka waka nuka nuka, waka waka nuka nuka
Would you like a lei? eh?
Let?s talk dirty in hawaiian
Whisper in my ear
Kicka pooka maka wah wahini
Are the words I long to hear
Lay your coca nuta on ma tiki
What the hecka mooka mooka dear
Let?s talk dirty in hawaiian
Say the words I long to hear
It?s a ukelele honolulu sunset
Listen to the grass skirts sway
Drinking rum from a pineapple
Out on honolulu bay
The steel guitars all playing
While she?s talking with her hands
Gimme gimme oka doka make a wish and wanta polka
Words I understand
Let?s talk dirty in hawaiian
Whisper in my ear
Kicka poo ka maka wa wah wahini
Are the words I long to hear
Lay your coca nuta on ma tiki
What the hecka mooka mooka dear
Let?s talk dirty in hawaiian
Say the words I long to hear
I boughta lota junka with my moola
And sent it to the folks back home
I never had the chance to dance the hula
I guess I should have known
When you start talking to the sweet wahini
Walking in the pale moonlight
Oka doka what a setta knocka rocka sis boom bocas
Hope I said it right
Let?s talk dirty in hawaiian
Whisper in my ear
Kicka pooka maka wah wahini
Are the words I long to hear
Lay your coca nuta on ma tiki
What the hecka mooka mooka dear
Let?s talk dirty in hawaiian
Say the words I long to hear
The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

Jefe: you could of really got MrBill going if you would have used:
Yellow matted custard,
dripping from a dogs eye
I could really get my dad going by singing that as I sat down at the dinner table....

Opinion Unchanged
Ok. I looked up the song and played it on Altavista. My original thoughts were affirmed. I hadn't missed anything.
I had looked it up as "The Walrus Song" and I came up with ads for Walrus (ambience) music, but scrolling down I found that it was "I am the Walrus".
Never too old to learn something new everyday.
