San Felipe - Mexico 1

San Felipe to Mexico 1

A group of us just drove the San Felipe to Mexico 1 road in a Honda Odyssey. Fortunately we had traction control. Very rough in spots, deep ridges in roads and washouts along the way. Several times we had to get out to "lighten the load" and also managed to get stuck in the sand in one 'desvia' around a washout. Very slow trip! It took us 10 hours to reach Mexico 1. The worst washout was between Coco's and Mex. 1. Trip is clearly possible in a regular vehicle but not recommended!
